Our Story

Maison Orchis was born from a fascination with what cannot be replicated: nature’s rarest colours.

Founded by gemologist and jewellery designer Clara Mourot Lazharo, Maison Orchis grew from years spent studying gemstones, sourcing them at their origin and discovering the extraordinary world of coloured stones.

The name Orchis draws inspiration from the orchid a symbol of rarity, beauty and individuality. Just as no two exceptional gemstones are truly alike, no two Maison Orchis creations are meant to be the same.

At Maison Orchis, following the tradition of High Jewellery, the stone always comes first. Each design is created individually around the stone: its colour, shape, proportions and personality guide every line of the jewel. every Maison Orchis jewel begins with something nature created only once and is designed to remain extraordinary for generations.

Our philosophy is built on three principles: exceptional gemstones, remarkable craftsmanship and honest value. By sourcing closely and working directly with trusted craftsmen, we aim to offer high jewellery with greater transparency and without the traditional layers of luxury mark-ups.

The Founders

Two worlds of expertise. One vision of High Jewellery.

Maison Orchis was founded by Clara Mourot and Christian Luecke, bringing together two generations and two complementary areas of expertise.

A trained gemologist and jewellery designer, Clara developed her expertise between France and Bangkok, specialising in exceptional coloured gemstones. Her eye for rare colour, combined with a passion for sourcing and design, shapes the creative identity of Maison Orchis where every jewel begins with the discovery of an extraordinary stone.

Christian brings over 30 years of experience in the diamond and Fine Jewellery industry, along with an extensive understanding of exceptional stones, craftsmanship and the international jewellery world. His expertise brings another dimension to the Maison: precision, experience and an uncompromising approach to quality.

Together, they founded Maison Orchis around a shared belief: High Jewellery should be defined by the rarity of its stones, the excellence of its craftsmanship and the integrity behind every creation.
